Smoothies To Cleanse Your Thanksgiving Sins



Nothing feels worse than the sense of guilt associated with pigging out on Thanksgiving. With endless appetizers, drinks, huge meals, a million side dishes, and desserts, most of us leave our festivities with a bad case of “food baby,” or belly bloat. It’s not permanent! The best thing to remember is that one day of extravagant eating will not kill you, so don’t beat yourself up over it. In fact, consider it a reward for surviving 2020.


Luckily, with each new day comes a fresh start. Get right back on track on Black Friday by fueling up with superfoods, and by drinking plenty of water. We know what you’re thinking, fruits and veggies aren’t always the most fun to eat but hear us out. Smoothies.

The best part about smoothies is that they require minimal effort while simultaneously being packed with nutrients! Just throw all of your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth! If it’s too thick, add more of your liquid ingredient! Pour into a cup and sip away!

There are plenty of smoothie recipes that not only are delicious but nutrient dense! Here are some of our favorites!

Spinach Smoothie



  • 1 cup of baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup of frozen mango
  • 1 1/4 cup of coconut water
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 of an avocado

Green smoothies also come with plenty of health benefits! Green smoothies are known to help improve digestion and even help boost immunity. Count us in!

Kale Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 avocado

Kale yeah! Kale has so many great benefits. It has plenty of vitamin C, can lower cholesterol, and it is high in fiber. This smoothie is so tasty and has plenty of tropically flavored ingredients.

Golden Detox Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

This smoothie is a little less daunting than a green smoothie, because it’s totally fruity and tropical. Did we mention it’s golden color is absolutely gorgeous? The perfect way to add some sunshine to your morning!

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Not only is acai filled with antioxidants and insanely nutrient-dense, this smoothie also contains chia seeds. These seeds are small but mighty. They are high in both fiber and protein, making them helpful in aiding weight loss.

Peanut Butter Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Though this smoothie isn’t exactly fruit-heavy but is sure is packed with protein! Between the almond milk, peanut butter, and chia seeds, this smoothie is perfect for that post-Thanksgiving workout, or if you are simply having a sweet tooth but are trying to keep it healthy!

Cocktails Using Spiked Seltzers

Raspberry White Claw Sangria

If you’re looking for a drink perfect for any occasion, this Raspberry White Claw Sangria is for you.



  • 1 bottle dry white white
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 can raspberry White Claw
  • Some raspberries for flavor
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • Ice

1. Combine the apple cider, raspberry white claw, white wine, raspberries and orange liquor into a large bowl. 

2. Cover your bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. You can also refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Bon & Viv Grapefruit Cocktail

This spiked seltzer cocktail uses butterfly pea flower simple sugar for a majestic shade of blue and purple.


For The Drink:

  • 2 1/2 ounces grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce tequila
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce butterfly pea simple syrup (using the recipe below)
  • 1 can Bon & Viv Grapefruit Spiked Seltzer

Butterfly Pea Flower Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon dried butterfly pea flower

Making Butterfly Pea Flower Simple Sugar

1. In a small sauce pan, simmer the water and sugar together on low heat.

2. Add the butterfly pea flowers and simmer for 10 minutes, watching the syrup turn a rich shade of blue.

For the Drink

1. Add the lime, tequila, simple syrup, and grapefruit. Stir until the cocktail turns purple.

2. Add in butterfly pea flower ice cubes for garnish.

3. Top the cocktail off with sparkling spiked seltzer and enjoy!

Spiked Strawberry Spritzer

This is a quick and low calorie Keto-friendly recipe for a fruity and fun drink!



  • 1 ounce Cupcake Very Berry Codka
  • 1 Can of LaCroix Cúrate Pomme Bayá (Apple Berry)
  • 1 or 2 strawberries for garnish


1. Add ice and chilled vodka to a cocktail glass.

2. Pour in a can of LaCroix and add your strawberries to your drink

The drink is named “dalgona,” which translates to honeycomb toffee in Korean, but it inspired by Indian “beaten coffee.” In fact, the drink became insanely popular on the short video sharing app, TikTok.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Create Your Own Whipped Coffee

  • Hot Water
  • Instant Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Ice

Let’s Get Started

  • In a bowl, combine equal parts of hot water, instant coffee, and sugar. We recommend using 2-3 tablespoons of each!
  • Mix by hand or using an electric mixer until the consistency is thick and creamy!
  • In a cup, add ice and desired amount of milk or creamer. Top with the whipped coffee and drink!

Protein Iced Coffee

  • Add 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce, or if you’re feeling extra, pour some more! Treat yourself.
  • If you desire to, add milk of your liking to lighten it up a bit and make it creamy.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and some more chocolate sauce.

  • 1/2 cup coffee, or 2 shots of espresso
  • 1.5 cups milk of choice
  • 2 tsp Nutella

Let’s Get Started

  • In a small sauce pan, heat the milk and Nutella until warm and creamy. Whisk until steamy.
  • Pour the mixture of milk and Nutella over your favorite freshly brewed coffee or espresso.
