Delicious At-Home Coffee Recipes

Inc. Magazine

For coffee lovers, every morning starts with a hot cup of joe. And if you are anything like that, maybe coffee is enjoyed throughout the day. Whether you brew your own at home or love to go to your favorite cafe, those mighty beans help keep us going and working towards our dreams.

But sometimes, we need to spice up our go-to order. It can get redundant making the same old coffee with cream and sugar three times a day, seven days a week (okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration but you get the point.). Luckily, we’ve got you covered and have compiled some delicious coffee recipes that will be sure to perk you right up!

Whipped Coffee

Eat This, Not That

Whipped coffee, AKA, dalgona coffee took the world by storm during the early months of quarantine. The drink is named “dalgona,” which translates to honeycomb toffee in Korean, but it inspired by Indian “beaten coffee.” In fact, the drink became insanely popular on the short video sharing app, TikTok.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Create Your Own Whipped Coffee

  • Hot Water
  • Instant Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Ice

Let’s Get Started

  • In a bowl, combine equal parts of hot water, instant coffee, and sugar. We recommend using 2-3 tablespoons of each!
  • Mix by hand or using an electric mixer until the consistency is thick and creamy!
  • In a cup, add ice and desired amount of milk or creamer. Top with the whipped coffee and drink!

Protein Iced Coffee

Eat This Much

With the new year just commencing, many of us are trying to stay on track with our fitness goals. For coffee fanatics, we know how quickly the calories and sugar can add up in our favorite drinks! Luckily there is a way to keep the calories and carbs low and the protein contents of your iced coffee high! Here’s how to do it!

Here’s What You’ll Need to Create Your Own

  • Iced coffee, or 2 shots of espresso over ice
  • Caramel protein shake like this one from Premier Protein

Let’s Get Started

  • In a large cup, pour your iced coffee over ice about 1/4 of the way.
  • Add one protein shake into the cup and stir until blended well.

Mocha Iced Coffee

Feathers in Our Nest

You don’t need to be a seasoned barista to create some beautifully tasty iced mochas! Iced mochas are like the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate milk, and are great for those days when you’re having a little bit of a sweet tooth.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Create Your Own

  • 8 oz of cold brew coffee
  • 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce
  • Milk of choice
  • Whipped cream

Let’s Get Started

  • Pour your cold brew over ice. Your cold brew can be made by refrigerating your own coffee, or you can buy it in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. Your call.
  • Add 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce, or if you’re feeling extra, pour some more! Treat yourself.
  • If you desire to, add milk of your liking to lighten it up a bit and make it creamy.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and some more chocolate sauce.

Nutella Hot Coffee

Lifetime Vibes

Okay but seriously, who doesn’t like Nutella. Whether you love to eat it on toast, or straight out of the jar, the chocolate hazelnut spread is a timeless classic. Even better, you can mix it with coffee to create a sweet treat!

Here’s What You’ll Need to Create Your Own

  • 1/2 cup coffee, or 2 shots of espresso
  • 1.5 cups milk of choice
  • 2 tsp Nutella

Let’s Get Started
