Often, the people we follow on the Internet have a large impact on the things we buy and habits we create for ourselves. This could be our Facebook friends that we connect with after years, celebrities we love, or influencers. “Influencing” has become a huge job for people in the last few years. These people often promote the latest trends in fashion, fitness, or really anything. Most commonly they do it via blogging, YouTube, or even TikTok.
More than likely, you follow a handful of these people yourself. More and more, these influencers are getting amazing opportunities to promote well-known brands and with enough success, even start their own businesses and companies. Here are some influencers who have some pretty awesome small businesses and brands of their own!
Dede Raad is one of Instagram’s most well known fashion and lifestyle bloggers, with just over one million followers. Dede also runs a blog by the same name, Dress Up Buttercup. The Texas native is a go-to source for all of the best deals in women’s fashion. She believes that women should be able to affordably wear all of the hottest trends, so she is a must-follow if you are trying to look bomb on a budget. Dede has a line with her bestie, Emily Herren (AKA Champagne and Chanel) in collaboration with WAYF that can be found at Nordstrom. In addition, Dede has her own line, “Detre” which has releases once a month on her blog!
Claudia Sulewski definitely did not know what was ahead of her when she began posting beauty and fashion videos to YouTube in 2010 as a young teen. In the last 10 years, Claudia has become an internet sensation with nearly 3 million YouTube subscribers and is even in a relationship with pop-star Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas. Claudia’s expertise is in fashion and beauty which has earned her a partnership with Nordstrom’s very own brand, BP. The line is both affordable and fashionable, and has the best loungewear, and chic accessories!
Danielle Bernstein started her very own fashion blog during her college days called “WeWoreWhat.” The New Yorker and Long Island native was inspired by the streetwear style that is so popular in the city. Danielle quickly gained a huge following and for good reason! Her fashion taste is modern and always with the trends, and that has been reflected in her various clothing lines. The WeWoreWhat line always features the most current styles. More recently, she launched the Danielle Bernstein collection, which is more affordable, and can be found at both Macy’s and Walmart!
Aspyn Ovard began her YouTube channel while in high school, and since then has covered topics like fashion and beauty, but has also vlogged her experience traveling the world with her high school sweetheart, Parker. Aspyn has become distinguished for her girly and modern fashion taste. Her signature look is muted pastels and neutrals, so it only makes sense that her clothing line, Luca and Grae is reminiscent of that. The “modern bohemian” clothing line is wardrobe goals, as well as size inclusive, even featuring a curvy collection.
Before Bethany Mota competed on Dancing With the Stars, she was known as “MacBarbie07” on YouTube. Bethany became extremely popular among teens in the 2010s for her quirky personality and knowledge of beauty and sense of style! This earned her a deal with Aeropostale in 2014. Fast forward to present day, Mota is currently a jewelry designer, and even has her own line, Atom and Matter. The line is in collaboration with Yunjo Lee, a former designer at Tiffany and Co. Not to mention, all of the pieces are adorable!
These entrepreneurs are proof that with today’s technology and social media, the sky is the limit!
Best Anti-Aging Products
We all know the saying… “she ages like fine wine!” Fingers crossed, that will be the case for us. Getting older can be hard. Seriously, we are not looking forward to gray hair, sagging skin, and of course, menopause. However, what we are most dreading are the fine lines and wrinkles associated with aging.
While some may say that smile lines are the product of a life full of happiness and laughter, we value taking good care of our skin so we can hopefully be silver foxes some day. With that in mind, we’ve been on the hunt for some of the best anti-aging products in the game, and are pleased to share with you some of our most loved!
Let’s get started!
It Cosmetics: Confidence In An Eye Cream
Anti-aging benefits aside, this eye cream is a must have for all of the tired ladies out there. Got dark circles and puffiness? This is your new BFF. This eye cream works overtime to restore brightness under the eye and it is ultra-hydrating, and will plump areas being affected by wrinkles and fine lines. We love that the ingredients in this product are super natural too! To name a few, avocado and licorice root.
Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Anti-Aging Face and Neck Cream
This cream by Kiehl’s has an all-star lineup in the ingredients department. Talk about a trifecta! PhytoMimetic Vitamin A, Chaga Mushroom, and Hyaluronic Acid work hard to decrease the effects of aging on the face and neck. We love that the mushroom evens out skin tone and that the hyaluronic acid is uber hydrating. In just a few weeks’ time, you’ll be seeing crazy results. In our opinion, it’s worth every penny!
Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
If you’re not investing in a high-quality cleanser, then what are you doing? We think that face washes should be exactly what they’re meant to do: clean! That’s why we love Youth to the People’s Superfood Antioxidant cleanser! First and foremost, this product is vegan (woohoo!) and made from kale, spinach, and green tea. Because of that, it is rich in antioxidants, which are known to protect from free radicals that lead to premature aging. It also smells absolutely amazing. It’s no wonder people swear by this product!
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum
Drunk Elephant has quickly become one of the biggest names in skincare over the past several years, and now we know why! Though it’s on the pricier side, we believe that skincare is an important investment. This night serum rejuvenates congested skin by getting rid of dead skin cells. Bye, Felicia! In turn, this helps even out skin tone, smooth the skin’s texture, reduce the size of fine lines, pores, and wrinkles. Good riddance! A lot of people who suffer from acne also swear by this product. Still skeptical? There are some pretty bada*s before and after pictures to prove it, or check it out for yourself!

Our Favorite *Comfortable* Bras
As women, we know that nothing feels better than unstrapping the clasps of our bras and letting the girls loose after a long day. There is no sensation on Earth that is more relieving or freeing! Men will simply never understand!
But what if we told you that wearing a bra didn’t have to feel like a chore? Believe it or not, there are some “over-the-shoulder boulder holders” that are quite comfy. Dare we say, comfy enough to sleep in? Have we captured your attention? We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite brassieres, let’s get started!
For Everyday Wear
SKIMS Fits Everybody T-Shirt Push Up Bra – $52
Every woman has that one friend that they can go to for everything, and we’d like to say that the SKIMS “Fits Everybody” T-Shirt Push Up Bra is ours. Designed by the queen herself, Miss Kim Kardashian, these bras were literally designed for everyday use. They are comfortable, supportive, and are made with a mold that contours to your body shape. Not to mention, it’s also lightweight and breathable. What more could a girl ask for?! Our favorite part is the inclusivity of this line. The bras come in so many different neutral “skin” tones, that anybody can feel confident and sexy while wearing this.
For Lazy Days
Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Bralette – $28
Nothing is more classic than this staple bra from Calvin Klein. We love the “Modern Cotton” bralette because it offers great support, while also being so. darn. comfy. Seriously, it’s butter soft. While it’s unpadded, it still offers full coverage. We like to call this one, “cold weather friendly” because your nips won’t be visible when temps drop. We think you get the idea. Anyway, the racerback design makes it a great option for pairing with workout tanks, but we think it even looks good on its own paired with sweats for a sexy and laid back look.
Aerie Real Me Wireless Lightly Lined Bra – $23
We couldn’t choose just one for this category. That’s why we’d be remiss if we neglected to include this bra from Aerie. Not only do we love this brand because they don’t airbrush their models and promote body positivity, but because their lingerie is just that good! We cannot stop wearing this bra because it’s wireless. The days of uncomfortable digging are over! Plus, it’s super versatile and can be worn traditionally (like pictured on the model), racerback, or halter style, since the straps are adjustable. Don’t walk, ladies…run!
For Sexy Time
Victoria’s Secret Unlined Demi Bra – Prices Vary
Victoria’s Secret has always been the place to go for bras and lingerie that will make you feel like you’re an angel on the runway. When we found out that they sold these beautifully laced unlined demi bras, we knew we’d have to try them out and share our thoughts with you guys! The keyword here is “unlined,” which means that while there is an underwire keeping the girls in place, there are no cups. These bras are cute, sexy, and comfortable, and the best part is that they often can be paired with a matching set of underwear.

Holy-Grail Drug Store Beauty Products
Some may say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but just think of how amazing it feels to open up a fresh tube of mascara or crack open a new bottle of shampoo. There’s just something so rejuvenating about going to CVS, Target, or Ulta and buying a haul of fresh hair and beauty products. Talk about bossing your life up!
But really, not everyone has $30 to spend on an eyeliner, let alone $70 to layout for conditioner (we won’t say names, but we’re not kidding). That’s why we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite inexpensive beauty products that are budget-friendly and sure to impress.
Let’s get started!
Essence Lash Princess Mascara
If you are anything like us, you cannot be seen outside of the house without at least one coat of mascara over our eyelashes. Truly, it works wonders. While it is nice to splurge on a mascara from time to time, it can become a pricey vice if you’re a cult user. Luckily, we found this $5 mascara (you read that right ladies, FIVE. DOLLARS.) that can be found at any Ulta or drug store. It’s Essence Beauty’s “Lash Princess” mascara and it is the best way to lengthen and give yourself that “falsie” effect. The best part of all? It’s cruelty free and not tested on animals.
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer
Hate to admit this, but the only time you will catch us being pale is when we’re dead. We’ve got to look glowing and bronze at all times, and this product from Physician’s Formula is truly a god sent. The Butter Bronzer not only smells so amazing (like coconuts) but gives the perfect, beachy bronze to your face. It’s the perfect option for contouring, or simply bringing your face back to life after a night out. Thank us later!
L’Oreal Paris Paradise Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette
L’Oreal simply couldn’t have picked a better name for this absolutely stunning eyeshadow palette. Though it isn’t everyday that we go full glam and opt for a full eyeshadow look everyday, this palette has beautiful options that are even good for a day working from home. The pink tones are girly and complement any eye color well. It even is cherry scented. It looks and smells good enough to eat! 5 stars from us.
Maui Moisture Shampoo
If you’re hip like us, you’d know that many shampoo brands are under fire for including DMDM Hydantoin in their shampoo. We’re no scientists here at Misdomesticated, but what we do know about this chemical is that it releases formaldehyde and causes hair loss. 3 words – no thank you! Lately we’ve been loving the Maui Moisture line of shampoo because its DMDM Hydantoin free, smells delicious, and leaves our hair silky smooth. The first ingredient used is aloe vera, and it’s also silicon/sulfate free. Count us in!
Native Body Wash
On the topic of clean beauty, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Native’s line of body wash. Cleanliness is key nowadays, and nobody likes a person with B.O. We love this body wash because it not only smells so fresh and so clean, but it’s sulfate, paraben, and phthalate free! It’s also subtly scented using natural ingredients. Don’t run, walk!
