Don’t worry, Divine wasn’t into witchcraft BUT her bold makeup and curvaceous figure inspired the famous Ursula from The Little Mermaid !

2.) Hazel from Fault in Our Stars was inspired by a YouTuber on her cancer journey.

The heart breaking story of Hazel from Fault in Our Stars was inspired by a young lady named Esther Earl. Esther was friends with author John Green while battling her cancer. She would vlog about her health journey on YouTube until she unfortunately lost her battle at the age of 16. John Green then wrote Fault in Our Stars as a tribute to Esther.

Unfortunately, Peggy Lee was slightly offended by the “copying” of her name and threatened to sue. The muppets creators then decided to drop the LEE at the end of Miss Piggy’s name to avoid any issues.
